How to Collect Court Fees with ATH Móvil or PayPal (Without Chasing Anyone)
Splitting the court rental shouldn't be the hardest part of the game. How to collect up front with ATH Móvil or PayPal and stop fronting the money.

In Puerto Rico almost everyone pays with ATH Móvil. Yet in many games the organizer still does the same thing: pays for the court out of pocket, then chases fifteen people for $8 each. Some pay, some say "in a bit", and someone always forgets.
The problem isn't how people pay — it's when
When collection happens after the game, there's no incentive left. The match is over, everyone's gone home, and the organizer is stuck as the debt collector. When collection happens when the spot is reserved, payment and commitment go together.
How it works on Xsporty
- When you create your event, set the price per player. It shows on the event card, so nobody's surprised.
- In Payment Methods, players see the options you accept: ATH Móvil and PayPal.
- The player picks one, confirms, and the spot is locked in.
- You see who paid without scrolling through notifications one by one.
What if someone drops?
That's what the waitlist is for. If the game is full and someone frees their spot, the app automatically moves the next person up and notifies them. Set your policy up front in the event description — for example, "no refunds inside 24 hours unless someone takes your spot".
Free events, too
Not everything has to cost money. If you play on a public court, set the price to $0 and the event is marked free. Spots and the waitlist still work the same way.
Why it matters
A game where the organizer loses money every week doesn't last. Collecting up front isn't being strict — it's what keeps the game alive next month.
Create your event on Xsporty and get the court paid before you arrive.
